All you need to know about the hotel col alto in corvara, the luxury hotel that hosted me during my trip on the road in the Dolomites.
Hotel col alto in corvara
Lots of pictures, a lot of emotion, good food and all you need to know about the hotel col alto in corvara.
December was a busy month: parties, trips, smiles, gifts and even trips. A mix of emotions that have accompanied me on a journey over the Alps, from the Dolomites to the French Alps, in a trip on the road split in two. The first part of the trip, the one I gave you an advance with all the backstage pictures, was the most picturesque and charming, a trip to one of my favorite mountains struggling with markets, snowy slopes and Christmas atmosphere.
A road trip that saw us through mountain passes and steep roads, an adventure between the alta badia, Val Pusteria and the val di braies. In the coming days I will tell you everything about the individual valleys and places not to miss absolutely but today I want to talk to you about hotel col alto in corvara, the first step of my trip.
Hotel col alto in corvara: the first step of my trip in the Dolomites
I’ve always been a ‘lover of Val Gardena, my winters have always passed there and I could not imagine anything better. I loved those little villages, the picturesque lights and the sunset over the valley and could not think that it was enough to cross a mountain pass to be faced with a new magical place.
Well .. that’s just what has happened. I decided to leave, at least for now, the Val Gardena, cross the Passo Gardena and enjoy Corvara, a picturesque mountain town nestled in Alta Badia.
I’ve stayed at hotel col alto, one of the oldest and most luxurious hotel in Corvara that I am madly in love.
I can not say whether it is about the gourmet kitchen or the unique design, the super relaxing spa or swimming pool with whirlpool. Maybe I fell in love with the suite with a private sauna and probably the family hospitality has done everything else.
I could try to explain with words what I have seen and experienced, from breakfast with a special buffet (croissants with cream are a specialty!) to the delicious dinners, snow-capped mountains at the special enjoyed cocktails in the lounge bar Iceberg, adjacent to the hotel, but I think it would not be enough. There are no words to describe what I experienced, the smiles broke out and the unfulfilled dreams, so I decided to tell you everything with a photo gallery, and on YouTube, with a video (get it here).
I leave you to the image gallery and I give appointment in a few days with the second part of this tour in the Dolomites.
